A customer in the central Bowen Basin was looking for a solution to reduce downtime on their draglines due to rigging lock failures.  2MT were engaged to engineer a solution to resolve this industry wide reliability issue.   

Product Solution

Over the next twelve months, extensive development and trailing of the Ez-RigLok® was completed and rolled out throughout the 2MT rigging system.

Today, all of the 2MT Advantage rigging utilises the Ez-RigLok® locking system.  The Ez-RigLok® is the industry’s only true hammerless locking system and has demonstrated to reduce downtime by up to 78%.

The introduction of the Ez-Riglok® has solved what was once the Achilles heel of dragline rigging packages throughout the Bowen Basin and Hunter Valley.
